Nether

The Nether has been completely overhauled to provide a new challenge for veteran players while sparking curiosity. Completely new biomes create a more immersive representation of this hellish world. Sanctuaries can also be found, perfect for a pitstop or saving your journey.

End

The End, similar to the Nether, has been upgraded and contains so much more. Completely new biomes make this experience daring for those willing to risk it all and dive into the boundless void. Unlock portals scattered around to find your way back.

Next level immersion

Experience a new level of immersion with enhancements to the game sound system and graphics fidelity.

3D Audio

A new audio system has been added allowing for immersive experiences in all dimensions and environments. Hear as sound waves reflect against walls inside hollow caves, reverb echoing the sounds of a zombie and a lower perception of the world while underwater.

Emissive light and weather effects

A reactive environment enables water drops and splashes, as well as more emissive lighting from particle effects and much more.

Ambient sounds

New ambient sounds create a more realistic environment.

Shaders

Included by default, you now get a chance to play the world as it was intended. Watch as the world transforms into a spectacle as god rays flood the mountainside while the ocean comes alive.
